Sombrero Island

 Tingloy, Batangas

“Sombrero” means hat in Spanish, the name was aptly given to this island because of its unique, hat-like shape. The crystal-clear beach can be reached via a 15- to 20-minute boat ride from Anilao port.

Sombrero Island is a good spot for snorkeling because it’s teeming with aquatic life. This island is also a favorite side trip for mountaineers who have trekked Mount Gulugod Baboy.
